The Phlunk

This book by Lou Rhodes has very unusual and beautiful full page illustrations by Tori Elliott featuring an equally unusual character - the Phlunk.

The Phlunk is an alien cat with enormous ears that can hear all the sounds the earth's children make. Oh, and he lives on a spoon shaped moon too! The simple rhyme is brief but uplifting and reassuring which makes it a perfect read for bedtime.
